Sally Hansen Spring 2013 Designer Collection Complete Salon Manicure

1 comment23 april 2014

Last sunday I wrote that I had bought some Sally Hansen polishes for 0,99 cents. Today I want to show you the swatches.

I will start with the first three colours. Firstkiss, Raisin the Bar and Butterscotch.

Sally Hansen First Kiss

First Kiss is a salmon pink colour. For this swatch I had to use three layers because it kept showing empty patches.

Sally Hansen Raisin The Bar
Raisin the Bar is a redish/brown colour. I wasn’t really glad with this polish. I had to use three layers and I still could not get it to look nice. I just managed to get a lot of streaks. It’s a shame!

Sally Hansen Butterscotch

Butterscotch is a mosterd yellow colour. Yay! I was looking for this colour for ages to match it with a dress. And this is exactly the right colour. I am so glad. For this swatch I used two layers.

The colours Apparition, Resurrection and Green Tea.

Sally Hansen Resurrection
Apparition is a nice denim blue colour. For this swatch I used two layers.

Sally Hansen Apparition

Resurrection was just as difficult as Raisin the Bar. I could just not manage to get it to look nice even after three layers. It’s a bit grey blueish.

Sally Hansen Green Tea

Green Tea is a pastel green shade. It is also a bit minty. I really like the colour and it is a great spring shade. For this swatch I used two layers.

I am glad with four of the six shades. For 99 cents per bottle that isn’t so bad. De only downside about these polishes is that they were very watery which made the polish glide into my cuticles easily and that were very patchy. So you have to be really careful to get them nice.

Do you like these shades?

  • Prachtige kleuren nagellakjes en zo goedkoop 😉 Jammer dat je bij de 2e kleur strepen ziet.
